This renovation of a landmark historic home overlooking Lake Michigan includes a large new kitchen (linked to a family room with views of the lake) and conversion of the existing kitchen to a mud/laundry room. The second floor bedrooms and bathrooms were reworked into suites, with the master bedroom suite opening onto a new roof deck. The renovation integrates well with the existing home and preserves historic details including trim, built-in woodwork, and plaster moulding.
