2ND FLOOR ADDITION TO A SINGLE FAMILY HOME, CHICAGO, IL

The existing second floor space of this single family home was constricted by the gable roof. FDA helped the owner to add over 500 square feet to the second floor (a 65% increase) by enlarging the existing shed dormer and incorporating a 2nd floor addition over an existing 1-story portion of the home. The extra space allowed for a laundry room, bath, and larger bedrooms including a master suite with a master bath and private sitting room.
